Friend Makin’ Mondays: Just Wondering

I’ve had another wonderful weekend, and I’m not ready for it to end.  There are some fun things coming up later this week though so facing Monday will be worth it.  I’d just like to have a good night of sleep first.

If you’ve taken part in FMM then you know the rules. If you’re new, please take a moment to answer this week’s question on your own blog then add your link in the comments section here at: so we can all see your FMM questions and answers. Please invite your blog readers to add their links here too so everyone has to opportunity to be seen. The idea is to connect with other awesome bloggers so take a moment to post your own FMM post and comment on a couple of other posts. Now it’s time for this week’s topic!

2013 Color Me Rad 5k in Hoover, AL

This past Saturday, a few friends and I participated in the Color Me Rad 5k in Hoover, AL. We all had a blast getting splattered, sprayed, and bombed with pink, purple, green, blue, yellow, etc colors. See the pics below for the visual evidence.

The course, surprisingly, had a few steep hills to climb. Regardless, my little triad of walkers, Emily, Cathy, and yours truely, climbed all the hills, took all weaving turns around the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium, and crossed the finish line. Fortunately, we were not rained on. The only two complaints that we had were, the course could have used one additional water stop, and there could have been more colors. There can always be more colors.
