Weight and Change

It feels like I started this blog a lifetime ago, and I decided to give myself a break from blogging for as long as I wanted to. I still write, but I do it with a pen and paper these days. The truth is that I enjoy my quieter, more peaceful life, but this lifestyle isn’t as conducive to writing interesting posts about my health and weight. Last week I went to the doctor because I hurt my back somehow, and by Thursday the pain was too much to ignore. I’m on the mend now, thankfully, and I weighed 8 pounds less than I did the last time I stepped on the same scale in August of last year. That number isn’t particularly blog-worthy either, but I’m okay with it because the last year has brought about more change in my life than most years prior. Let’s recap: June 3rd will mark my first wedding anniversary, which seems insane to me.
